Online Sportsbooks -
A Mature Industry - There are fewer books around now than five years
ago. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. The stability is good. Players have
learned to deal with the 10-15 solid operations that exist. It's not like a
decade or more ago, when there were literally dozens of shops opening on a
monthly basis. Heck, make that a daily basis. They were opening too fast to keep
up with.

Betting the PGA Championship
- Although Tiger won this past weekend's WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, he is
batting .000 at golf majors this year. Tiger finished sixth at the Masters and
the U.S. Open and missed the cut at the British Open. With the final major of
the year the PGA Championship beginning on Thursday, you can be sure Tiger will
be gunning for the top; as always he is the odds-on favorite to win at +140
(golf odds courtesy SPORTSBETTING.com).
